Light Up A Life
At Hospice of the Valleys, we understand the devastating impact grief can have on those who are left behind when someone dies and its why, this Christmas, we’re extending a very warm invitation to you and your family.
Please join with us to remember and celebrate the life of someone special to you as part of our annual Light up a Life campaign. Now more than ever before Light up a Life is a wonderful way for our community to come together to
remember, reflect and celebrate the lives of those loved ones we’re unable to spend Christmas with this year.
Due to the current restrictions we are unable to have a physical tree this year, however instead you can dedicate a
light to your loved one on our beautiful ‘Virtual’ tree. As part of your dedication you can also write a message, add a
photo, make a donation to the Hospice and also share the dedication with family and friends so they can add to it.

Please join us for the ‘virtual’ service, which will be live-streamed from our Facebook page @HOTVFundraisingDept on 3rd December at 6pm. You will also be able to view the recording on our YouTube channel.
Additionally you can show your support for the Hospice and remember a loved one by purchasing a beautiful Light Up A Life Badge new for 2020, these will be available at our shops whilst stocks last when they re-open on the 9th November.
For any Businesses, Groups or Organisations that would like to support we have boxes of badges available with various quantities. To request some please contact Julie Williams on 07855 405258.
And finally...
THANK YOU for your wonderful continued support of the Hospice. Without you, we will not be able to continue to provide our vital services to our patients and those who matter most to them, families like Jacqui’s during these most challenging and ongoing times. Now more than ever your support is making a difference and we are truly grateful.
We welcome you to take a moment to read the heart-breaking family story of the wonderful Jacqui who features in our Light Up A Life Campaign this year https://www.hospiceofthevalleys.org.uk/about/patient-family-stories/
If you have been affected by grief over these last few months and would like help, please contact our Family Support Team on

As always we remain here and happy to help.
Please take care of yourself and loved ones and we hope to see you for our Virtual Big Bash Coffee Morning on the 17th November.
With warmest wishes from everyone at the Hospice.
