Inauguration of the New Mayor 2025/26

Councillor Glyn Morvan was inaugurated as the new Mayor of Nantyglo and Blaina by the outgoing Mayor Councillor Michael Williams. Among the attendees were Deputy Lord Lieutenant Susan Gwyer-Roberts and her husband Dylan Gwyer- Roberts, the Reverend Roy Watson BEM, Councillor Alison Tippings the Town Mayor of Tredegar Town Council, Councillors Lisa Winnett and Sonia Behr of Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council and members of Gwent Neighbourhood Police.
