Mobile COVID-19 testing available in Blaenau Gwent

Aneurin Bevan University Health Board is extending the opening of its mobile COVID-19 testing units in Blaenau Gwent, and moving between different locations across the borough.

The mobile testing units will provide a walk up testing service to residents of the borough.

If you have symptoms of Coronavirus (Covid-19) - a new continuous cough, high temperature or loss of taste and/or smell, please book a test. Apply online at www.gov.wales or phone 119.

Remember these symptoms can be very mild.

Wednesday, 16th December:

  • 9am - 12.30 - Car park rear of Buff's Brynmawr, Station Road, NP23 4NA
  • 2pm - 4pm - Car park rear of High Street, Blaina, NP13 3AF

Thursday, 17th December:

  • 9am - 12.30 - Car park rear of Buff's Brynmawr, Station Road, NP23 4NA
  • 1.30pm - 4pm - Car park rear of High Street, Blaina, NP13 3AF

Friday, 18th December:

  • 9am - 12.30 - Gwent Shopping Centre, Tredegar, NP22 3EJ

Saturday, 19th December:

  • 9am - 12.30 - Gwent Shopping Centre, Gwent Way, Tredegar, NP22 3EJ

Sunday, 20th December:

We would encourage you to pre-book an appointment but there will also be a limited number of daily drop-in appointments available.

• The test is done in 5 minutes
• Only for residents of Blaenau Gwent. Bring ID and proof of address.
• Please wear a face covering on the way to and from your test
• Please do not use public transport
• Do not visit any shops or other places on the way to or from your test
• Please remember, if you have symptoms of Coronavirus, you and your whole household must self-isolate at home until you receive your test results.
• There are stringent measures in place to protect both you and our staff at the testing site.
